Servee: The web. For humans.

Under The Hood

Servee is structured so that developers can tweak and rework it to fit their needs. It is built to expand from the ground up.

Servee is organized into two main development landscapes: PageTypes and Modules.

PageTypes

PageTypes are different kinds of containers for information on your site. Examples of built-in Servee PageTypes are "Standard Content Page" or "Blog Aggregator." A PageType is the logical organization of everything needed to process data for a specific function. It includes all of the 'business logic' to create new pages of the same PageType, change its options, and process for output. To learn more about PageTypes, read on.

Modules

Modules are different types of dynamic information, located within a PageType. A Module is a smaller, more articulate bit of programming. It can pull data from other pages within your site or other places on the internet, and manipulate it to interact with your site. Learning how to build a modules is the best way to get a grasp of the Servee API. To learn more about Modules, continue here.
